I had a great experience relaxing in the onsen after exploring the area during the day. The public bath was enjoyable, and the garden offered a peaceful escape. I also appreciated the traditional Japanese breakfast served with care. I am single, so it felt nice to connect with the staff who provided excellent service.
I noticed some outdated aspects in the ryokan's decor and facilities that could use updating. The area outside felt a bit industrial compared to the ryokan's traditional atmosphere.

the ryokan was decent, but the carpets were positively ancient, really didn’t meet my standards. also, no dinner options on site? that's absurd. and where’s the complimentary wine? I almost gave a glowing review, but the lack of special treatment has left me just cantankerous. not worth the fuss, to be honest.

great experience but room could use updates
The daily kaiseki breakfast and dinner were exquisite. Having an in-room maidservant added a personal touch to our dining experience. The public onsen provided a wonderful way to unwind, and the beautiful garden view from the lobby was an added bonus.

missingWrote a review on Jul 02poor dining
The dining options left much to be desired, with a disappointing lack of English explanations for the multi-course meals, making it hard to enjoy unfamiliar dishes. The room's overall condition fell short, with stained carpets and outdated fixtures creating a less than comfortable environment. Additionally, the shower water pressure faced issues that affected usability, alongside an air conditioning system that felt poorly regulated during my stay, leading to discomfort at night.

A Memorable Traditional Experience
Our stay felt like a journey into Japanese tradition. The stunning on-site garden provided a tranquil escape, and the outdoor onsen was a highlight! I recommend trying the matcha tea. it's a delightful treat. For a tasty meal, visit the nearby bakery on your first day for supplies.

Highly recommend for families
The public onsen was a real treat for our family, especially the outdoor onsen which let us soak while surrounded by the amazing garden. The private kaiseki breakfast served in our room had every dish beautifully presented and tasted very nice, we felt like royalty.
It wasn't exactly budget-friendly but worth every penny.

The beautiful Japanese garden provided a breathtaking view from the lobby, adding tranquility to our experience. The free shuttle service to the station made it accessible for seniors like myself, ensuring a comfortable journey in and out.
I'd appreciate updated bathroom facilities.

The on-site facilities were impressive, particularly the beautifully maintained garden, which provided a serene atmosphere, especially at night. The private kaiseki meals were a culinary highlight, expertly prepared and presented, elevating the overall dining experience. However, the language barrier with some staff made it a bit challenging at times, and the room's condition showed signs of wear. Additionally, navigating the temperatures in the bathroom could be improved for better comfort.
